Had breakfast here, absolutely delicious. Fast and friendly service.

Great food! awesome staff! Caters to even the pickiest...me, I'm the pickiest. Recooked my potatoes because they were slice and not diced like I was expecting. Lol

Best place to start your day with breakfast. A little packed but that's because it was so good.

The meat on my Reuben consisted of 3 pieces of rolled lunch meat. The last thing the waitress did was bring our food - no refills or anything else. Then they tried to charge me a dollar each for 2 extra plates I asked for (kids sharing). The flavor of the food was fairly good though.

The Rainbow is the place to find great stick-to-your-ribs comfort food. The service is excellent. Due to its popularity seating can be a little tricky at meal times. There is seating for around 70.My chicken fried steak was excellent as was my wife's goulash. The servings were generous. Our ticket total was $18.40. Breakfast is served all day. There is a child's and over 55 menu. The main menu is extensive. The homemade pies are first rate. When we are in Mountain View, the Rainbow is our eatery of choice.

The family and I really loved this place very friendly and just great food all together. Kinda a hidden gem for visitors.

The cheeseburger was just a cheeseburger. The onion rings were very very good and you got a good portion.the dark-haired young woman who was our waitress was very cheerful attentive and helpful. My wife has a gluten problem and the waitress checked to see what was gluten free. The restaurant was clean masks where required when moving about

Extremely good food, and very pleasant atmosphere. We enjoy stopping in every time we're in town. Soups are great, chicken fried chicken is one of the best I've ever had. You will not be disappointed if you stop in.

Fabulous home cooking..great liver & onions, good prices. If you are in Mountain View, Arkansas stop here and eat. Best in town

Great place. The liver and onions was cooked so tender. If you like liver order it. I wished I had gotten some to eat later. Staff was very nice. Catfish was good too. We eat breakfast there the next morning The omelette was cooked just the way I ordered it. Lots of locals eat there.

Lovely people. Great community. Food was SO good. I suggest the Jalapeno Burger. So so good. I wish it was closer to home just so I can order it daily.

It's a great spot for breakfast I just accidentally deleted my post with pictures so I'm hoping to find and repost .this was early this year 1/2 B&G. Order of chocolate gravy, Western omelette. 11/29 we had fried catfish special also was very good

P J's is a little cafe in Mountain View, Arkansas. They have great food and friendly service. The ladies bathroom has wall to wall Elvis.

Never been disappointed. Food is always hot and fresh and service has always been top notch

The chicken fried steak is tasty & large. Fries good. Pinto Beans good. Cornbread very good. A cool place in a very cool town. Friendly staff. Worth the stop.

Went for a Rueben sandwich yester, been awhile but it was great as usual! They're always consistent with their food, waitresses are friendly and very prompt in their service.

A very nice cafe on the main street in Mountain View, Arkansas. A good selection of breakfast items, prepared well and served promptly. Very reasonably priced.

Loved this place so much, we had dinner and went back for breakfast the next morning. Food was perfectly cooked in portions that were satisfying, but not overwhelming. Service was amazing, those ladies had a crowded room under control at all times. All this goodness at a very reasonable price, too. As close as it gets to perfect.

A great place to eat. They have a large variety of food choices. There hamburgers are amazing. The meatloaf was awesome. The spaghetti was really good. Their breakfast are fabulous.

Outstanding breakfast. Service is great, the food is the stuff of legends. I recommend the gravy and biscuits which will take you back to another time and remind you of breakfast at your grandmothers. Unless your Grandmother was a lousy cook... then, err never mind.... Great place to eat...

Excellent southern comfort food. No instant mashed potatoes here. Small seating area and they are usually busy when I visit. Lots of cookie jars for sale in addition to the food. There is a board with daily specials besides the menu. Waitress staff is always very friendly. Ladies can check out the Elvis restroom decor. And be sure to bring cash - they don't accept credit or debit cards.

We can in after touring Blanchard Springs and so glad we did. I got chicken fried steak potatoes and carrots. Wife chicken fried chicken with fried squash and onion rings, daughter got some jalapeno burger and other a burger. Everything was hot, fresh and tasty. Fast friendly local service in a pleasant step back in time cafe setting. Now... The highlight. The dessert. I got lemon meringue pie and it was so tart and creamy... Daughters got the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake that also was creamy sensation. So good and happy to come back.even the men's washroom was clean.

My daughter's and I had dinner here, we enjoyed our food and experience.

A great place to start the day. Plenty of local folks waiting for them to open up assured us that it was a good decision. Be warned though, cash and checks only; no credit cards.

Service was friendly, courteous, and prompt.But, the chicken tenders where anorexic, as well as the burger. Used those large onion buns, which I did like, then upon opening the burger, reminded me of those early 80's "Where's The Beef" commercials. Yet the trimmings where excellently configured for the bun, but not the burger. The onion rings where extremely greasy, in which took over taste of the onions.The mashed potatoes where "real" as advertised and tasted great.2 stars, one for service, and the other for the potatoes. The meesely burger and chicken killed this review.

This was an absolutely wonderful, huge breakfast. Great taste! Large portions. Highly recommended!

We ate lunch here on our last day of vacation before heading home. We intentionally saved this restaurant for our last meal because we had heard it was so good. We were very excited to eat here, but were very disappointed in the overall outcome. What kind of establishment in this day and age in a tourist destinations does not except cards? The staff was courteous and kind, and very attentive. Food was overall underwhelming. Would give it another try next time we’re in town but will not get our hopes up.

BEST FOOD AROUND!!! Okay, most restaurants with a huge menu like this place only make a couple of dishes really well. However, RAINBOW does EVERYTHING RIGHT!!! Close your eyes, press your finger to the menu and order whatever you picked! You won't be sorry! MMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!

The pies are amazing!! Homeade and the cheesecake is the best I've ever ate! Lady only makes them on Tuesdays though. So get one quick they dont last long! As far as the food, I didnt eat there so i dont know.

Good, tasty, nuttin' fancy home cooking. Very reasonable prices and very friendly service. Nice place for a comfort food lunch after church.

Great breakfast, economical price. Very limited parking out front. Gets busy at peak because the food is good. Service is good and restraint well kept. Huge selection of cookie jars for sale. Only reason for 4 stars is it's cash only.

It's a delicious, and affordable place to eat out located in a beautiful town. I would highly suggest it. Whole other is cash only, the prices are definitely within a fair range.

Fantastic food. Found it by other reviews. Trust the public opinion, every place we ate while in Arkansas came from reviews. All local spots with the best food and fantastic service.

Wonderful food the best veggie burgers around even my six and five year old kids love them. And the french fries, onion rings and tater tots come in big portions and piping hot so tasty

This place was great! Our server was wonderful and the food was really good! This is a small place and very quaint. They weren't too busy, but they weren't deserted either. This a is homestyle cooking place and it offers a lot of different food options and is very family friendly. This place is very affordable for my family of four it was only $25. Be sure to bring cash or check they do not accept credit/debit cards! We will be going back to try the breakfast next time!

Really awesome food , stayed in beautiful Mountain view over the weekend and decided to tey this place on a Saturday. We LOVED IT! food was great and people working there so friendly. The mile high meringue pie was amazing. It was so goood we decided to go back and have lunch there on Sunday.
